Castlemaine Poetry Prize 2013

My poem ‘Forest Creek Goldfields’ received a Commendation in the Castlemaine Poetry Prize 2013.
Elliot Midland Newspapers, Mount Alexander Shire, and Soldiers and Scholar Bookshop sponsored the prize, judged by award-winning Castlemaine poet Ross Donlon. My Commended poem will be published in the Castlemaine Mail.

Hi Katherine E congrats to you, nothing like prizes! As you’ve probably seen on Becs FB we’ve just had one last week, little William came into the world and has turned ours upside down… we’re very tired and struggling through but loving it of course I’m off to work soon so I can’t write more, but just wanted to say good on you and hi hope you’re happy love james
